What do I need to know?

  • A Refillery is an eco-friendly store designed to reduce single use plastic consumption for a more sustainable lifestyle by offering a refill option on household and personal care products.

Rather than purchasing a new container each time, you can reuse and refill your own containers over and over again.

Refilleries can also create a closed loop system with respect to bulk containers. At Changing Tides Refillery we work distributers that take back their empty bulk containers to also be refilled and reused again.

  • There are two options for purchasing refill products: Prefill, then refill; and Bring Your Own Containers (BYOC)

PreFill then ReFill is just as if you were purchasing from a traditional store. It’s pre-filled and ready to use. The intention is then to reuse and refill these again and again!

BYOC you use your own empty, clean, undamaged containers.

  • Any container that is empty, clean, dry and able to hold liquid can be Refilled.

Please remember to label what you would like filled in each container.

  • We thoughtfully source out sustainable products that meet our standards (ethically made, non-toxic, and never tested on animals). We also try to find quality products as local as possible. All of your Refill products are Canadian made (Quebec and Ontario). The majority of our other eco-friendly products are made in the Maritimes by other small businesses.
